PC Agent Server

PC Agent Server is a free available software, which allows you to receive the records of PC Agent directly on one of your systems. Only one setting is required in the configuration of PC Agent. Furthermore, the program can serve to archive and open the record files with the extension PCA.

The following tutorial shows how to configure the monitoring process of PC Agent to send records to the PC Agent Server. The records will be sent to the PC Agent Server as soon as the server is reachable from the monitoring process.

1. Download and open the control-center on the monitored PC. Click «Settings».

2. Click «Send».

3. Click «Send records to the PC Agent Server».

4. Specify the hostname or the IP address with which the server can be reached.

6. After completing the configuration, click on «Apply».

7. If you have specified a password to encrypt the records, you have to enter this password by the first connection to the server.
