Enable the remote access

The following tutorial shows how to enable and use the remote access of PC Agent. If enabled, the monitoring process provides the ability, to access the records by one of the listed URLs.

1. Download and open the control-center on the monitored PC. Click «Settings».

2. Click «General».

3. Expand «Remote access» (1) and enable this function (2).

4. Enter a password to protect the remote access. The remote access can't be used without password protection.

5. Click «Apply».

6. Open the browser and copy one of the listed URLs in the address bar of the browser.

7. You receive this message because the website's certificate was not signed by a certification authority, which is technically impossible for local servers. Regardless of this message, the connection is encrypted and therefore secure. Click «Advanced».

8. Click «Proceed to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (unsafe)».

9. Login by using the specified password.
